Elementary Education
The School of Education offers an exemplary program in elementary education designed
to provide a balanced blend of theory and practice. Throughout the elementary education
degree program college students will complete at least 570 hours in a variety of hands-on
elementary teaching and field-based experiences in the K-8 classroom. The Elementary
Education program features class sizes of 20-25 students this guarantee that all
elementary education students receive the attention they deserve. A background in
state-of-the-art educational technology prepares students majoring in the elementary
education program the ability to integrate computer technology into their elementary
educational instruction.
Grand Canyon University - Online
The university is made up of The College of Education, College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Ken Blanchard College
of Business and College of Liberal Arts. This specialized coursework focuses on teaching children the basics of sentence
structure, communication skills, and grammar (for students in kindergarten through sixth grade).
