Pharmacy Technician

The Pharmacy Technician program trains you in the skills and knowledge necessary to work in a pharmacy environment. Pharmacy technicians often work alongside the pharmacist and sometimes directly with the public. Graduates of the program are eligible to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification exam. Pharmacy Technicians assist pharmacists with technical tasks, such as filling prescriptions and other dispensing duties, thus allowing the Pharmacist more time for other responsibilities.
